****Please Note that there will be no resident expert Friday 29th March and Friday 5th April****
Do you have a dressmaking project you're stuck on?
Would you like an expert to ask for advice while you sew?
Do you struggle to insert a zip?
No need to book, come along and join in.
Our lovely teacher Maureen is on hand to help you with your dressmaking projects in these sessions on Friday afternoons from 12.30-2.30pm.
Classes are suitable for ages 12+ although 12-15 year olds must be accompanied by a guardian. Why not both sign up and come to learn together, or else come along to accompany them and have a cup of tea? Younger children aged 7+ may attend the class but will need to be monitored by a non sewing guardian at all times.
We recommend that you bring your own sewing machine to the class to ensure that you can utilise the tips you learn at home as well as well as a basic sewing kit (thread, scissors, pins etc). We do have some loan machines available so please let us know if you require one at time of booking.
Spaces for this course are limited to 8 students so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
Please note the class is held on the first floor so if you have mobility issues please contact us before booking
